09/05/2008: Welcome to Read This 7's web features! It's taken us a while to deliver them, and for that we can only apologise... RT's eds have been hard at work on their finals, and computer problems have only added to the stress! However, here they are... our beautiful web features for the month of May - check them out!
We've got poetry from Michael Lee Johnson, Enzo Marra, Phil Soliman and Brett Bromley - plus a poem by Lauren Pope, whose work is also due to appear in the forthcoming Read This 7 print magazine.
We also have prose from Anurag Chatrath, and the best of the last two print issues... all poets this month -- here's another chance to check out the work of Jared Booth and Vivien Jones (RT5), and Dave Lewis and Kim Moore (RT6).
The print issue of Read This 7 will be available for your reading pleasure in the next few days, and it'll feature works from Jon Asby and Roxanne Paris, among others. Keep an eye open for that, and for our new site which should be going live any day now! And remember... keep writing, and keep submitting! Read This needs you!
FORTHCOMING RT-RELATED EVENTS...
If you're in Scotland - of even if you're not! -- come along and see our lovely Editor-in-Chief Claire Askew, and poet, critic and RT Issue One guest-editor Alan Gillis on their World Tour of Edinburgh. They'll both be reading at the Great Grog on Rose Street on Sunday 11th May, starting at 8pm... and you can see them both reading again at Forest's Golden Hour on Wednesday 21st May from 8pm!
Read This would like to apologise for an error in Issue Five, and correct that error. Contributor Russell Jones was not, in fact, shortlisted for the Bridport Prize, but longlisted.
