Issue 10 - September 2008 - Contributors

Drew Anderson, a sixteen year old hailing from the sticky heat of central North Carolina in the United States, has been described by friends as "fluffy." A voracious reader and avid writer, he's just trying to get by in his sophomore year in high school with the aid of his trusty composition notebook and mechanical pencil.

Jamie Baxter has been writing poetry for three years. He is about to start his first year at Durham University studying Engineering. He writes poetry about his life, thoughts and observations and has recently been published in Bottom of the World.

Pete Harrodine lives near Edinburgh, isolated and friendless, overwhelmed by insurmountable debt and a paralyzing fear of the future. When he is not working full-time on his 'great novel', he aimlessly wanders his house, agonizing that his book seems so close to completion, if only he could fix that one crappy chapter/sub-plot/line of dialogue...

Tennyson Horn is a high school student at a small boarding school in Birmingham, Alabama who enjoys writing, wit and general dry humor and only wishes he could write prose decently. When not at school he spends his time waiting tables in Seaside, Florida and has been, for some time, waiting to take a stereotypical road trip solely for the purpose of consummating some personal transformation.

Mark Reep is an artist and writer who lives and works in the hill country of Pennsylvania and the Fingerlakes of New York.  His work has been acquired by private collections throughout the U.S; recent publications include American Art Collector.  He’s currently laboring fitfully at what he hopes may resolve itself into a mosaic novel, or something.  New prose, poems, drawings, photos are posted regularly on his blog

Katie Winny has been writing poetry for about two years, short stories for about seven, and has been in love with language her whole life. She is a fifteen-year-old New Zealander whose interests lean heavily towards the arts. Katie would love to make something of herself with writing, and is determined to do so.
