Caitlin Barry is a 23 year old graduate student in American Studies. She hails from the Chicagoland area, but decided to move to the desert upon graduating college and now resides in Albuquerque, New Mexico. While she has made academia her current focus, the strand of creative writing has always woven through her life. Please contact her at cnbarry84@yahoo.com for any comments, questions, or obscure pieces of chit chat.
Anurag Chatrath is a corporate banker by profession though he claims allegiance to words and not numbers- he gave up his banking career to pursue a Creative Writing MSc, and never went back. He now freelances to combine his passion for writing and travelling, and likes to experiment with the concepts of time and space in his non-Einsteinesque writing. His friends are tired of his I-am-travelling-to-South-America-next-month statements.
Kristi Kirkland is a lifetime university student from any place sunny and warm, currently Williamsburg, Virginia. She is a professional mooch, occasionally showing up to work where she slings yarn and embroidery needles to the youthfully challenged. Her career aspirations include teaching, playwrighting, and tea-drinking.
Alaina McGinnis is a 20 year old Writing student at the University of Tampa in Tampa, Florida. She grew up in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts and has been writing stories since she was a young girl. She recently turned to poetry and fell in love with it instantly. Her hope is that by the time she finishes my graduate studies, she will have a collection of poems ready for publication.
Lauren Elizabeth Pope is from Los Angeles, California. Her chapbook, Test Landings, was published by Edinburgh-based Monboddo Press in 2007. She is currently pursuing a career in playwrighting, and is looking forward to the world premiere of her play, Medusa's Snakes: The Aftermath, at this year's Fringe Festival.
Hamza Reed is 27 and has been writing poetry since he was old enough to understand that words held meaning. He is currently residing in the United States with his wife, studying to teach Creative Writing and plans to continue his education to become a guidance counselor.
