I’m STILL reading SP’s Unabridged Journals! I’m keeping a quote journal so I get to something in her journal and I have to write it down… ;)
And there’s always a poetry book somewhere to be found. Just finished Meghan O’Rourke’s Half Life…

I’ve got plenty of time for the ladies of literature. Got a copy of Scottish Women Poet - interesting stuff. Lots of Gaelic mind you, which I don’t know how to read. But yes, Women’s work…is on the list now.

I finished the second book of John Burnside’s autobiography ‘Waking up in ToyTown’ which was as excellent as the first. Despite the difficult and often harrowing subject matter, then book is somehow enjoyable to read.
Just started reading Solar by Ian McEwan. Don’t know if it’s as good as earlier books by him, still to early to tell.
