Today is your last chance to enter the One Night Stanzas Valentine’s Day haiku contest. First place wins ONS & RT goodies, and runners-up will have their haikus published on the site, so get submitting!
Today is your last chance to submit to the this collection project — 100 words or less about Edinburgh in poem form! We’ll pick 100 poems to be made into short films by our gaggle of eager and awesome young filmmakers, + you get the chance to come with us to the Edinburgh International Film Festival, The Edinburgh Book Festival, Leithfest and StAnza Festival in 2010. Yep, it’s a tour! Get on the bus while you still can!
This weekend is your last chance to submit tattoo/tattooing themed poems to the Skin Deep poetry anthology. Submitters will get a free copy of the book as well as the chance to appear alongside tattooed goddesses like Gala Darling and Marisa DiMattia. The book will be officially “launched” at this year’s StAnza Festival in March… deadline is Sunday!
This weekend is also the deadline for Chris Lindores to get his pamphlet, which I am proud to be publishing, together. If you have a favourite poem of his, get over to his dA and nag him to include it! Or just check out his work, because he is awesome.
& as always, Read This Magazine is looking for your poetry, prose and artwork submissions! We are currently in the process of putting together Issue 15, and it is looking sweet! Issue 14 was pretty cool too…
