Procrastination Station #29
List of link love!
Photos of a poem // Books we lie about // Quizzes: around the world in books & fictional families // writing’s a dangerous job, but someone’s got to do it // the new success // Poster poems: Letters
StAnza have posted their poetry podcasts!
I’m currently obsessed with Blackout Poems.
There are lots of reasons why this is good news!
Found online this week: Former Featured Poet Shirla White over at Bolts of Silk // Recently-reviewed Howie Good at a handful of stones // regular reader Swiss saying nice things about this collection // an absolutely filthy but absolutely fantastic poem from Eric Hamilton, former Featured Poet // and a sweet one from last week’s FP Ryan, too.
How do I hate Twilight? Let me count the ways… (I love Vulpes Libris!)
I am still VERY skeptical about the Howl movie // this had better be better than the godawful book //and is On The Road really so unfilmable?
A little public-spirited cheer…
Why living with a geek sucks (I can relate. And point #7 –”they wouldn’t fight, they’d be friends” — is so true!)
Retouching is creepy // & so is food obsession
& finally… a new poetic revolution:
Have a great weekend! x

I think your Twilight link is messed up … it goes to the Ryan Lamon poem haha. The Vonnegut tattoo makes me sad. Just for the thing that happened. I kind of want a tattoo … but I also kind of want to punch myself in the face right now, so maybe when I am more coherent I can make decisions like that. Plus my skin is allergic to like everything it has ever touched, so I am afraid a tattoo might kill me, ha.
Sigh,
H.
